Which other boats were involved in the shoot?
One was a 38 Formula (not sure of the name of the boat or owner) and the other is my friend's 36 Cigarette Gladiator. There was a fourth boat (36 Concept) used as the camera boat but that was not in the shots. They had a helicopter taking aerial shots for the first hour of filming and the rest was all shot with on board cameras or from the camera boat. I saw it this past weekend. I noticed the 38zr and thought it was super cool. I hadn't noticed this thread, so it was a real surprise. If you see it, they mention Christopher Columbus and how he'd like a speedboat. It's like that Gallagher at a farmers market commercial. That must have been fun. Cool to know it was off of Sandy Hook too. |

Myself and couple other boats from NJPPC are going to be featured in an upcoming TV Commercial for Geico. I can't really get into the specifics but it is part of a new add campaign that they are really excited about! We had a great time working with the film crews and it sounds like it will be a funny commercial. We launched at 6am and trailered out at 6pm. It was a great way to spend a Monday!
Add should be out in 2-4 weeks. |
