Boat Lift Feedback
After 6 years of towing to the ramp I've decided this fall is boatlift time (not to mention my dock is looking worse for wear so the timing is right).
Need an elevator lift and would probably put one in that was 18-20k capacity in case I ever win the lottery and move up. Any feedback on either of these companies (or does anyone know of other options I should look at) http://www.goldenboatlifts.com/ http://www.aquamarineboatlifts.com/elevator_lifts |
scratch golden they don't do vertical over 10k lbs - has to be at a 22.5* angle.

u plan on raising the Titanic, nice lifts

Boat lifts unlimited out of Odenton MD (410/674-3100 ) or one of their dealers might be able to help you .I have done business with them for more than 20 years . I think the price and service I get from them would be hard to beat . :ernaehrung004:

I'm having some work done on my dock now and the guy swears by a company called High Tide boat lifts. He's put in a lot of others but says this one is the best in his opinion. I have a lift now that were trying to modify but if it doesn't work I will probably use one these.

Yeah - I've seen those but I couldn't get away with it because of length behind the dock to my neighbors dock.

First pic is wifey's boat (40,000# lift). To bad Golden didn't work out, it has been a very good lift. We also have a Quality Lift, better quality but a lot more expensive compaired to Golden.
http://www.goldenboatlifts.com/eight_post_lifts.htm We should have gotten rolalties, this picture was taken of our superlift. When I ordered the lift, Quality wanted to get one of their superlifts in the area for "show and tell" so they upgraded our order from a 20,000# lift to this 33,000# lift. They used our install for their brochure. http://www.qualityboatlifts.com/superlift.html |
Very happy with golden! I just installed an 8 post lift 32k. Had an issue with a faulty gfi circuit and they went above and beyond to help me even though they knew all along it wasn't their problem. They even had the owner of the remote control company call me to try and help diag the problem. I have been very impressed with the quality too of Golden Boat lifts.

Golden looks great, although pricey - but either way, they don't want to do vertical elevator over 13k.
Hurricane and ABL were both willing to do it. Nice conversations with both - any feedback on either of those guys? Also - anyone know this guy? Looks like a nice product - http://www.bluewaterboatlifts.com/Elevator_Lifts.php |
I am a little prejudice...
I am a little prejudice because these folks are here on the island. They are always friendly and easy to talk with at the Florida location.
Don't want to overly promote them, but hope you would look at their product line. http://www.boatliftus.com/ |
