Seeking Replacement Windshield 1995 Formula 336 Stbd
 

Hi everyone my name is Brandon from Chicago and I'm searching for a needle in the haystack. I'm looking for a replacement (new or used) windshield stbd side for a 1995 Formula 336. Anyone have much experience with finding a cost effective way to replace a windshield with a bend in it? Anyone know of any boats with blown motors on the hard that someone may sell a window? Please advise with suggestions. I'm new to OSO, look forward to meeting everyone.

I'm located near Chicago, will travel up to 8 hours by vehicle to pickup windshield. Anyone know of a abandoned or wrecked boat with good stbd windshield?

Amazing how often I have had friends and there have been listings on OSO, where people have taken windshield problems to sign shoppes and had replacements cut and heated to fit the frame.

It is not something "any" sign shoppe can accomplish. It takes one with broader fabrication experience and equipment.

There are better plastics available in today's market that are more easily manipulated to acquire the desired effects. Back "in the day" the plastics often had bad "rippling" at the bend, but the new materials and processes are much better.

I am sure in the greater Chicago-land area there must be very sophisticated sign shoppes which could tackle this problem successfully.

Likely Formula out sourced their "glass" production and you might be able to discover who the provider was and get a replacement from them.
