Oil pressure

What you have to say when somebody I know had there motors done and always had a oil pressure problem from day 1 and they say just run it now he found metal flakes in the oil filters they said all it's just the oil pumps put new pumps in still dropped oil pressure. what do you do now it's been 2years but been a problem from day1

im confused, are you saying 3 motors all have oil pressure problems for 2 years, can you fill in the blanks?

Metal in the oil is bad no matter what

I THINK you are saying they had problems, and were told to just run it for now until the shop could get to it??? maybe?

If that's the case, I'd say they are screwed.

Good Luck.

ok,i stand corrected, now it makes sence to me,if the oil pressure was low and the builder said, just run it,and it lived for 2 years,id say it must have been put togeather right,or it would have never seen 2 years, but it,s tough to say for sure without knowing all the details.

No he was afraid to run it it's been two years he just told them they need to fix it that's when they said it was the pumps they said just run it . It had oil pressure problem from day 1 they said just run it then they put bigger oil pumps in and it still drops oil pressure

What is it with shops telling people "just run it", seems like it happens a lot. How low was the pressure? I'm not sure what you are looking for since we don't have any information.

I know what you mean, if there was any kind of expectation of a warranty that was agreed on and the builder doesn't feel it is really a problem that needs to be addressed then it should be agreed on what is going to happen when motors DO fail from just being "ran"!
