My friend has a 48 express fountain, then a 42 fountain, and a 32 cc fountain and a 10 foot mercury dingy. We just have 37 active thunder and a 21 cc with 200hp
Mercury but it still has its problems. It's a boat u always will have to fix both sometimes

One can never have too many boats . .

presently the 1969 Donzi Corsican is the primary, and the 15' Whaler Sport with a new 50hp Merc is the run around back up . . while the Magnum 27 gets completed . .

A few years back we found many a Magnum 27 owner also owned a Donzi 18 . . . The 18 Classic has basic reliable power, large cockpit, and can be found as a good boat for low dollars.

The scarab is my go-fast but my Tahiti jet boat is my first love!

Great thing about the Tahiti is it looks good, sounds good, throws a massive rooster tail and it is so easy to handle. We have a small lake 25 minutes from the house, to small for the scarab but on a hot day after work we hook up the tahiti and were on the lake in 30 minutes! Beats eating dinner at the kitchen table

my main boat is a 87 cruisers 2860 rogue. This winter picked up a 89 searay 260 overnighter that needed a repower, presently installing a 99 454 efi engine. Have a 10 dinghy and a couple of jet ski's. A boat for every occasion.

My "back up" boat is still being fixed, but now the main boat is ready. Or is it now the back up boat is ready but the main boat is still being fixed?

Doesn't every serious boater have at least 2 boats?

GUILTY- a 28 V and a 21 tunnel.

Although I prefer to look at them as a lake/river boat and a big water boat rather than a primary and a secondary.

When I had my 38 Cigarette T/S F-2 Top Gun I bought the GA Sutphen as a back up boat.
It was the best move because the Cig constantly was at TnT for engine & drive work.
I can't begin to tell you how much $ I spent to keep that boat running.Engines, headers and drives.
When I sold it I got a little more than I paid for it, but lost my azz on keeping it running for two years.

Here's a shot of our back yard. We spend a lot of time in the little Formula One, 45 hrs so far this season. The outboard is a 73 Glasspar with a 90hp Tower of Power. 30 hrs on the Cigarette so far. Also got a 22 Pachanga that we've had for 10 yrs.

Boats are tools, the right tool for the right job!
