Thanks Steve, it was a freebie. A buddy lost interest in it and gave it to me. It's funny how everyone likes the little G-3! My Dad recently visited, we were sitting on the deck looking at the dock, he's never seen the newer Cigarette and his first words were "what a nice boat" -He was talking about the Glasspar! Fun boat but man does that 6 cyl Merc suck up the fuel!!!

The Formula needed a lot of TLC this year and with all the projects and a new kid it had to stay in the garage. My wife wanted a pontoon so I told her if she got it I would clean it. The thing already has over 25 hours in a few weekends! It is nice to drive and for what the Formula would burn 30 gallons of fuel this thing burns only a couple. I just put the Donzi back in the water yesterday and had a grin from ear to ear while I drove it across the lake. That is by far my favorite boat and I will own it tell the end.

Time to add the pontoon to your profile boat list on the left!

-0721120626.jpgGreat thread Mike. I read it at 5:30 this morn and got motivated to go out and uncover the 17 whaler. A rat it might be but a hose is all I need to get rid of the sand and dog hair from a day at the beach. Which might be today. The Phantom is collecting dust as I don't have any props up here for it.

Backup boats are a great to have option. I have a smaller center console which was a great back-up option to the other boat especially when I didn't feel like the cleaning routine required for the big boat.

The "Bombed Shell". The result of drinking and working on my cousins boat all night. I picked up the motor for him in a Miami ghetto and the boat looks like it fell out of the back of a truck on the highway. Sports a 9.9 Johnson motor, 24oz Pabst filled with great stuff for bumpers, Chevy orange sprayed and varnished paddle and Bottle opener on the transom. Its fully equipped lol. Total jerk boat! Not a bad back up plan if the Warlock doesnt want to behave.

Yes, I did poker run it once!
I added a bimini top for some shade, fill the cooler, drop the crab lines and have a blast.
Still has issues though after all..... it is a boat!
I had a speedster the first year they came out. Best boat I ever owned. We used to drag it to the Bahamas behind our Ocean... with the twins we'd island hop in it. I beat the hell out of that thing, it had stress cracks all over it, but never missed a beat. The only thing I had to do was get the hull repaired from the mega abuse... it was fixed under warranty.

Even with the abuse, the boat still shined like new (except for the purple vinyl which got toasted from the sun). I used to wax the floor of that thing and kept it perfect.
