gel coat stain removal

Pulled the cover off the trailer queen yesterday, and discovered some leaves on the deck. They stained the white gelcoat. Strong boat washing soap does not touch it. Have not tried anything else yet.

What products really work to remove the leaf stains?

Thanks.

I just posted this on the other thread of the same subject. I live in a woodland setting and before my full cover came in, I had the same problem all the time. Spray Nine works wonders on tree slop. Spray it on, let it set for a few minutes, wash it off, bingo. If its on there pretty good, I ususally scrub it in with a soft bristle brush or sponge.

Thanks, I'll go look for some spray nine.

try FSR they sell it at west marine

its a funky nasty toxic blue goo. But it works well. I have had very good luck with it removing all sorts of nasty funk.

Okay, I'll look for FSR also.

Indy: Which Spray Nine did you use? From checking their web site, they make a gajillion types, and several for marine use alone.

Thanks.

For those nasty Potomac River stains (which can't be buffed or chemicaled), I use a product called Y10 jelly. You wipe it on, let it sit for a minute or so...wipe off!! Looks new!

I picked up FSR and spray nine for lawn furniture (the only spray nine the local Ace hardware had. It claimed to do the same things as the original and marine spray nine). My wife also suggested baking soda and viniger (but she may just have been trying to reduce the amount I spend on the boat). Will try them Sunday and report the findings.

Formula1: If none of the above three work, I'll try your suggestion.
