Great guy and will be sadly missed!
Loved his boating and sledding......always playing and tweeking his toys........our thoughts to his wife and daughter. Sean loved a little place up on georgian bay called Henry's.....this weekend a few boats are going to run up to Henry's and have lunch and cheers to Sean in his memory. Sad day Jay |
I Knew Sean personally and liked him a lot. He had a great sense of humor, an inate honesty and a personality that was infectious. Mainly though, the quality that I will always remember was that he truly "got it" on the first take without extra discussion, explanation, or needless small talk.
God Speed my friend..... T2x |
So sorry to hear. Condolences to family and friends.

Still shocked, and deeply saddened. I was just looking for these photos myself. I remember this day very well, we all had such a wonderful time. That same day Sean took the wife and I out on his cat and about scared the sht out of her, LOL, I'm sure her fingernail marks are still embedded in the grab handles to this day.
Sean was one of the most compassionate, helpful, cheerful and loving guy one could ever come across. I sure will miss you, pal. Deepest condolences to Daphne and the kids. :(

I really enjoyed his posts...May he rest in peace...

Could I please ask you folks that knew Sean through this board to do something.
If you are out boating with your buds this weekend could you take a pic hoisting a glass for Sean and email me the pic at [email protected] Sometimes wives and family don't understand how far reaching the relationships extend on these boards. I will get the pics blown up and pass them on. Sean had an infectious spirit . A sad sad time |
God speed :(
|
I never had the pleasure of meeting Sean in person. But he responded to posts about boat tech questions, automotive tech questions and sled tech questions on several web sites with wisdom, humor and real down to earth common sense.
He also ran the Buffalo Poker Runs several times so I know we crossed paths on this journey we call life. Godspeed Sean RIP. |
Sean was also a big snowmobiler.
Here is another thread for him and how far reaching he was. He will be missed! http://www.freedomsledder.com/forums...howtopic=60095 |

For those local boaters that are planning on attending a visitation we are asking that they go 6 to 9 Sunday so we can have the recreational guys all together.
The snowmobile forums are asking the same. Thank You |
Didn't know him personally but enjoyed his knowledgeable posts. Way too young to have gone, RIP.
It's a reminder that we don't know when our number is going to be called, have to live it up every day we can. |
Very sad and shocking news. :( RIP Sean from everyone at Active Thunder Boats.

The picture of Sean and Daphne really makes my heart hurt.

I met Airpacker in Key West in 09 and new him well from this site, Boatfreaks and hardcoresledder. I'll definitely raise a glass this weekend. RIP!
|
RIP you lived a good life to have this many friends talking so highly about you. Prayers to his family.
|
Rip Sean, your vast knowledge and insight will certainly be missed!
|
RIP Sean. Remember the infectious spirit we shared with twin 29 (doug) and Sutphil at the toronto boat show 12 years ago when we were among the first canadians on the site. Sean you toasted us at the foggy dew down on king street (remember guys?) to a long life of fast boating. You were an inspiration and a great guy.
Miss you and condolences to the family Sincerely Kevin (Used to be Kingpin- wish I could remember that log in) |
R.I.P Sean...:(

I first met Sean and Daphne when I came up for the OSS race in Toronto 2006 with Bob.
My introduction to Canadian boating! Instantly likeable folks- way fun to hang with and drink a few. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7130/7...f17b3c41_o.jpg Large |
Thank you
While I have a quiet moment this morning I wanted to say thank you very much to everyone that has posted. You honour Sean so much with your kinds words. It just amazing for Sarah to read all these posts and see how many people were touched by her dad's online/offline/offshore/sledding world.
He will be so missed...... Love to all, Daphne and Sarah |
