Just random guesses; it is from...

...ship, dragline, locomotive, off road mining truck and it bent from running over 800 rpm?

Pratt & Whitney, Wright?

RIPJIVE9311 07-25-2012 02:24 PM

I was thinking the same thing f****** CMI leaked and hydrolocked the piston.

BahamaLure 07-25-2012 04:18 PM

slow speed cross-head diesel ship's engine, could also have been in a powerstation, cool pic!

akaboatman 07-25-2012 04:20 PM

----What,,,Theres something wrong???........Bill S

akaboatman 07-25-2012 04:35 PM

Looks like they removed one rod bolt with a crane. After burning the other 36'' rod bolt with a torch. Bad CMI Merc headers for sure. Remember to find the problem before replacing parts. An as You can tell, The motor was fresh. Hehe.
