51 Outerlimits at LOTO
 

Does anyone now who had the 51 Outerlimits at LOTO this past weekend? It was an amazing looking machine.

YEAH, I SAW IT YESTERDAY AT THE COVE AND TODAY AS WELL...
 

I guess National Marine sold that bad boy to a gentleman at the lake... it is on a lift at the mouth of Millionaire's Cove...
I saw him out today feeding some serious speed to his ride around 7-mile... It's amazing that a 51ft. with AC/GEN and full cabin will move like that with just triple 575's...:rolleyes:

I was talking to some people who are installing the lift for that big boy and they said it was $850,000.

I bet the Lift guy was happy to get that sell!!!

COME ON!! I want to hear all about it!! Where were you guy's at? was the water rough? I think I would have put money on TBONE!! What motor's are in the cig. again?

51ft Outerlimits with triple 575's, I would think it would be a 85 to 90 mph boat, that thing is huge!

We were at about the 7.5 heading towars the damn and two searays had just crossed heading into Toad cove.

Well, the 51 is by no means an 85 - 90mph boat...
We were cruising down to Bayou Bill's at about 6:00 on Sat. evening and we were at the ten-mile-marker when the 51 passed us going in the other direction....sooo we see him turn around and get going balls out, obviously to catch us, so OF COURSE I slow down and wait for the inevitable... We hook up right in front of seven-mile and run to about the six-mile-marker...this guy wanted a piece of the Cig. BAAAAAAADDDD...he actually turned towards me to get closer right when he got next to me!:eek: The water was fairly nasty, so I thought I was surely going to get ate...but we pulled in front immediately right when we hooked up and stayed about a boat length in front of him the entire time...:rolleyes: I thought we were going down, but the Cig. pulled through once again and showed her true colors....(The black and white checks that is...:p )

sounds like you took his lunch money then kicked his dog....:D

my future ride is rippin' up the lake...:p

The Cig. is getting a spa treatment next weekend.... pampering from bow to stern... and an oil and filter change...
Planning on making it a working weekend and getting her pulled out of the water for a day to shine her up a bit... Nothin' but the best for my fine little lady... Ssherman is going to apply his famous "watch out, you'll hurt yourself" wax-job!!!!!!!!:D :p :cool:

I will take full credit for the crazy rough water run from the 19 to the 17 Tbone said he thought the boat felt funny and said I should drive it. So after my arm stopped hurting from him twisting it:p I proceeded to feel out the cig and at one point i glance to see the GPS right at 80 with 4 of us and 1/2 load of fuel and rough water. We blew by the Zero Gravity and once he got a clean shot he informed us what 1800hp and number 6's can do in the rough. Needless to say I dont know how hard he was on it but it wasnt as bad as i expected.

BTW Tbones sister has sworn off ever riding with me again. I thought the ride was great considering my little short ass can only see about every third wave over the flip-ups:D

ssherman- do you need a box to stand on? i might know where there is one at....;)

I forgot to tell ya... If you are indeed going to the SCOPE Poker Run and you are not going to be here for the Shoot-out than I am going to run JJ in the Shoot-out... Just to let cha know!!!:eek: :cool:

Someone will have to Active thunder todd has volunteered as well and he has 350 hours in a 32 so maybe several of you guys can run it.

Saturdays "incident" was a true classic. Hats off to your creativity. BTW, I noted their numbers and I'll keep an eye out for them. They may have future problems at LOTO.

Was watching a huge rooster tail coming up the lake at us and wondering if Dave Scott or the Dirty Duck gang was out playing. As it got closer, we could see it was a big V bottom.
When it screamed past us, (and I do mean screamed), I recognised it right away.
Not sure if it was just visiting LOTO for the weekend or now lives there, but man what a beautiful ride.
