Omg---lol
went to the auction for liquid glass boats in iowa, drive trains, engines and interiors looked good OMG the hulls were the worst i had ever seen, waves in them so bad looked like breakers on the beach, blistered so bad on the bottom i would be afraid to go over 60 thinking the it would peel off nevermind the wicked hook in one of the sponsons. heard an internet bidder bought them for 274 and 290k i think he will have a bad day when he sees them:poopoo: upclose and personal

Probably the same buyer who made the ridiculous offers on the powerquest molds then split. Wouldn't be surprised if this buyer backs out, I heard they were rough but damn that sounds horrible.
Are these not just a large Profile? I don't remember anything being too special with them to get that kind of $. |
The pics I saw in Powerboat and elsewhere the boats looked really good. I thought Schultz finally got it right. This is sad really. :(

the best bid of the people there was 124k every one saw what they were,-- then a few people battled it out over the internet

Pictures are deceiving, for that kind of $$$$ you better be there in person to see it or have someone else there for you.
|
I was on the green one. They had loads and loads of putty filling holes too large around the tailpipes and was also used as filler at the hull/deck joint. It looked worse than a Profile.
|
Can anyone post photos of all these blems?

It's all internet goodness, he actually had professional representation. I got a great look at his survey and it was the shortest one I'd ever laid eyes on.

Damn, that does it for me !! Whom do I make the check out to for this fine vessel :evilb::lolhit:

That survey reads like a Nigerian scam email. I'm surprised it wasn't signed by Dr. Reverend George Washington Ngumbo.

$20 says Grace Marine is Schultz's company, brother, friend or gay lover.

It is hard to test drive them in a corn field

HAHAHAHA! That's one of our largest dealers!:lolhit::lolhit:
I have no clue why they sent them there for that "survey". I think it was just to verify engine hours and such. I do know of the owner of grace. I dont think he knows shultz. But hey, ya never know. A friend of mine pointed out to me (it's a good point and i have said this on another thread) For example: There is a 43 nortech in the classifieds of OSO. asking 239k this boat has 1075s and is actually a brand name. it exists. its hard to put a value on those liquid glass boats because they didn't make it. I thought for sure they would only get up to around 125k or so. i about fell over when i heard how high they went. then i wondered how high the person was that was bidding. I'm not trying to spread rumors. But I heard that the bank wanted upward of 300k for each of them. It was a no reserve auction. But i wonder if it was the bank bidding them up so they can attempt to sell again since it didn't hit that 300k mark. Again, This is not a fact by any means. Just heard as gossip. |

Would have liked to have been there to see that train wreck in person !! I can't believe someone would pay that kind of money over the internet .... unless of course it was bogus !

I'm loving this, a seatrial in a trash can in the middle of a cornfield. The engines and drives ran fine and shifted excellently See ya, Kelly |
