38 cigarette vs 38 fastech vs 42 BT
After the last poker run momma is ready to start looking at boats again. I am looking to be in the high 70's to mid 80's on speed would any of these setups see that?
96 cig 38ft with twin 502 MAG
98 fastech 38ft with twin 500's
43 ft BT with twin 500hps
What's motors does it take to get each of these boats to that number? I am looking for some reliable motors not some high HP that are rebuilt ever 150-200 hours.

Cig (straight bottom) with 600's just under 80
BT with 500 HP's (this is a steped bottom boat) just over 70
Formula I am not sure
I owned both the cig and the BT mentioned above

386 Sonic with 525's or 575's will run mid to upper 70's Active Thunder a little faster. Those will have the best cabin space. 382 fastec Formula is low 70's and there is no driver feedback, my buddy has one, nice boat but not a huge cabin, hard to work on the motors worse with a gen and you feel like your just steering it. Black Thunder, huge cabin I only like the GT the others look like a RV inside and no fun docking in wind. Cig is a great boat but slow with flat bottom and small power, most dont have the best setup or cabin for weekending. Need to nail down how much you wanna spend and what the cabin has to have, you have a Sonic now so unless you dont use the cabin or are both under 5 feet it will be hard to find alot of boats with the same head room.

All the boats mentioned above were around 80k....I have pros and cons of all three. Boatme what was your feelings after owning hem, and I am guessing you mean 500s not 600's.
