Two Questions
 

I am thinking on downsizing to a 27 to 29 ft cat.
Thinking on a single engine 27 ish.
What I want to do is buy the cat and see how I like it. If I do then I will take the engines and 2- shorty drives off of My 1992 - 34 SCARAB and put one of the engines and drives on the new boat and save the other set as spares.

with those thoughts in mind what cat would be the best for cruise and top end. Open bow???
Question #2
What would my 34 Scarab be worth without engines and drives?

I am looking for good cruise manners and good top end.
But not affraid of a boat that has to be driven.
