Dialing in a blower motor

Figure out a way to determine your A/F ratio. Should be 14:1 at idle, 13:1 midrange and 11.8to 12.0 wide open. The only way to determine this is with a meter. Everything else is guesswork. Good Luck.

Exactly correct as long as you are not too close to the edge of detonation with the engine build/boost.

I just put new bearings and seals in it but never marked the rotor postion (to one another) on the gears. Do I just put them directly horizontal and vertical to each other? You have to line up the marks. The gears are mitered so the rotor will hit until you get the gears seated to one another. Fine tuning of rotor timing is done with shims under the miter gears. Make sure those go back just like they came out or you will need to retime the blower.
