Couple observations. This boat looks to be all Carbon Fibre which would coincide with this type of damage, Geico delamination and JBS delamination. Carbon Fibre does not have very good impact resistance unlike Kevlar. Carbon is known for stiffness and light weight. A 50ft boat that would come apart from a crusier wake. Another observation, it would appear these turbine boats are built without a scatter shield to save weight. A scatter shield would or hold prevent the boat from being the scatter shield.
If the boat came apart and impacted the turbine, that would have destroyed the turbine, Would be curious to figure out what happen. |
