Looking for Boat Surveyors in Kentucky

We're in the process of buying a houseboat and need to have a survey done for my own knowledge and for insurance purposes. Does anyone know of any reliable, trustworthy surveyors that will work in the Lake Herrington area? At this time, the boat is not running so it will probably be within the next 2-3 weeks. Thanks!

Bill Burke. He just did mine, he is a member of the society of accredited marine surveyors (which some banks and insurance carriers may require). He is located in Georgetown Ky, so he is fairly close to the area you are in.

Good luck with the new boat.

+1 for Bill Burke. He did a boat for me a few years ago. Easy to work with, he actually came out to my work and did my survey in the parking lot. Good knowledgeable guy to work with.

Great! Thanks for the info. I will be sure to give him a call. I blindly bought my first boat without any inspections and was very lucky when it all worked out for the best but this time I want to be safe and cover all my bases. Better safe than sorry!:thankyouthankyou:
