yes, works great! I would recommend that you get one with at least 6000 + BTU's though if you plan to use it during the day. 5000 BTU's is fine if you only use it at night.

Used one on a cruiser for a few years, then much later used another one on a Formula. It was a PITA to get up on the bow. Ended up using a $100 window unit sitting in the doorway with a towel under it. Worked just as well ifyou don't mind stepping over it.

Here ya go...
Can buy this little 6000 BTU window unit on Craigslist for $50 or brand new on Ebay for $150 shipped. With a $15.00 piece of foam board, some white duct tape, and a bungee, you're good to go. http://i215.photobucket.com/albums/c...r99/AcBaby.jpg |
i have a cruiseair unit that i use on my 27fever.it works great.as said, its a pita to get onto the deck.the good thing is that it is air to air exchange.so i get a better temp change.grant you the fever is a small cabin.but the output of my unit is only 4500btu output.on a 100degree day i can get my cabin in the 60,s.at nite i almost have to turn the unit off.too cold.
