Return of My Way???
 

I was just reading a article where it says My Way has about 250k worth of damage and will miss this years Loto Shootout, but plans to have fixed for spring 2013,

My question is would you get on that boat again at 200mph?? We've all seen the pics/video I'm sure there even more damage structurally then we even know, I do not think I could get on that boat again to push the limits of water and speed.

The rumor going around at the Boathouse in the Bay is that the boat is totalled. Engines are probably fine. I would suspect Mr. T is shopping a new hull at this point. Love to see the new incarnation next spring! I've watched them all!

Structurally it will be as strong if not stronger after it is repaired. This assumes it is repairable and the repairs are done properly.

I would think it would be returned to the factory and gone over with a fine tooth comb seeing as money doesn't appear to be an object............... but to answer the question......... I don't think I would have gotten in the boat before this happened.

Can the integrity of the hull ever really be the same (or "stonger") after sustaining that much damage? If it can be repaired to where it would now be stronger than before, why was it not built that way in the first place....? :confused:

Going on just the pictures that I have seen of the boat thus far, I don't think that I would feel comfortable taking that same hull (repaired) over 100 mph again.
