Need fellow OSO members help!!
 

My wife and I have been performance boaters for several years and have worked very hard to improve the safety and image of performance boaters on Smith Mountain Lake, VA. We are faced at this time with a few negative public opinions on a photo released of us during a filming of the television show "The Motorhead Traveler" in which we helped the Smith Mountain Lake Chamber of Commerce showcase our beautiful lake. I also liked it, but pretty much just because, well, I like it ;)

After reading some of those, i think you should name the boat "bohemoth"....use the incorrect spelling too, it adds a nice touch ;)

Done, I hope the guy with the dented pontoon is able to get over his (bad) experience. Like the comment said if his pontoon dented that easily I would not want my family on it, as my wife drives through my wakes to give tubers a more fun ride & has not put a scratch on her pontoon.

Some folks are griping about how the boat is too big and too loud and one guy's pontoon boat was dented by a "behemoth's" wake (his words).

Looks like a beautiful place to vacation and spend money. They should be thankful you chose to fill your gas tank there.

thats the dude that when you pass them on the river his wife has a look on her face like "please pick me up" lol.....and when we get a mile down the river when she can finally hear him he says "those a$$holes are going to fast"....FYI---i was only at 3000rpms at the time of the pass lol

Thanks everyone for your help! I'm sure everyone has to deal with the same type of people at some point on your home water or have come across them at one time or another. Some of their comments just shows how uneducated the general public is when it comes to boating knowledge.

They must have pulled the neg pic. I liked the one pic just now. Nice boat!. I get the hater jealous ****s around here in cali.. Like bastards blocking the pumps and talking to the cashier at a gas station for 5 minutes when he knows I want to get out of the street and fill my boat.. Just shows that some people don't know any better . :D
