While Buck Stracener wowed the crowd with an amazing 148mph with his single GT Performance, 8.3L Whipple Supercharged powered Nordic 28' Thor.

Many other Whipple powered boats made amazing runs such as Jim Doris and Ken Gouty's Playcraft pontoon's, Steve Tripp, Norm McKeen and Jeff Harris in there beautiful RPM boats.
