Or just carry a full 55 gallon drum of High Perf Gear lube on your boat.

WTF are you talking about moron? Talking like a tuff guy? Where in any of my posts do I come off talking like a "tuff guy"? It my choice to run on a bent prop. Go back to you box of wine, or wine coolers, or what ever it is your drinking pal.
It defiantly looks like someone doesn't know how to hold their liquor...... Looks like this a$$ wad went an a drunken posting rage this morning and post a bunch of useless babble in a bunch of threads. I sure hope you don't act like that in public when you get all liquered up. If you do I hope you have a good dental plan........ |

And to clarify to the dip $hit that went on a drunken tirade in this thread. Water is MUCH thinner than drive fluid. Therefore when a slightly bent shaft creates a leak in a seal, water gets in. Fluid seldom leaks out. So by me saying I would change my drive fluid daily, that was because water intrusion will thin out the drive fluid causing drive damage. Not because I expected it to leak out. So to keep the drive from leaking thinned oil out I would have changed it when necessary. NOT THAT I SHOULD HAVE TO EXPLAIN MYSELF TO YOU OR ANY OTHER DRUNKEN KEYBOARD COWBOY.
Now for the sober people... The drive has held up and so far the fluid looks good. But I will be checking it after every time out. It looks like the shaft isn't bent much, however, any amount is too much. I was shocked at how smooth the boat is. I expected som low rpm shaking, there isn't any noticeable shaking or vibration, but I am sure it's there, just very minor. I will try an baby her until the end of the season, which is fast approaching. |
