The Merc 6 is a surfacing drive. If the boat was set up for that drive and has a notched transom you can run any #6 type drive, possibly including the Sage and Weismann drives. It would be worth a call to both of them to find out. I don't know Mike Sage but I do know Pat Weismann. If he says you can use his drives you can take it to the bank.

There is a thread in the superboat forum, of a 30 w/ a turbine and a sage.
Not sure if the boat was ever finished.

Just caught this. who is doing the work on your engine up here in Michigan? Sterling? Just curious, always liked this motor and figured they'd have great potential - especially as a twin turbo configuration.
