Any kids in our boat always have them on.. For the adults, just casual, cruising speeds on Lake Havasu, we don't wear them....I always wear the safey kill switch around my wrist while driving though.

I can`t remember the last time I saw anyone out here wear a life jacket on a boat, I never do. I think I put the kill switch line on once and it bugged me. I never wear a seatlame in the car either thou .. its just how I roll.. my life, my decision.

The more we talked about this, the more sense it made to us. Now we wear them all the time.
Thanks Jay

Adults, almost never, but I always offer. Kids 100% always, it's not an option. Though to be fair, my boat tis only in the low 70mph range AND never near that unless the conditions are appropriate, I NEVER have the need to throttle my boat, since it is NEVER out of the water. I would suspect that covers abotu 99% of the boaters out there...this site has a lot of horsepower. I see things on this site daily that I wouldn't imagine doing EVER. And I am not saying there is anything wrong with it, actually I love to see it. I'll continue to live vicariously through you guys
