I got the post off funnyOrDie.com. To me it's funny, cuz I think the pilot is an absolute idiot for driving over his head with a boatload of passengers. Good lesson for some who may view the post. Chit can happen quick out there, even in a 38 Fountain on a lake (or so it seems to be from bolster stitching). Anyway, ignore it if you don't like it, or even pull it down. Whatever...

It's all over the internet anyway and it's already been linked to a couple of times on the main thread. I'm sorry people were hurt but glad no one was ejected because this could have been so much worse. Maybe it's not "funny" but it's on my YouTube "favorites".

Nothing personal, but it gives me a chuckle every time one of you calls him a "pilot" or "captain". Clearly he isn't either but a steering wheel holder... and wasn't very good at that!

I bet if this guy had right hand throttles, he might've been better able to brace himself when the boat rolled so violently.

Never driven a Fountain, but that's gotta be kinda tough to adopt.

I laughed at it too, couldn't help it.

Every time I see that guy slamming those throttles back and forth and then he just 'planks' out, it's hilarious.

Granted everybody did get hurt and that isn't funny, but nobody died. They just learned the hard way this time.
