Anybody go to past APBA Offshore races in Cleveland?
Did they sell tickets via Ticketmaster before?
Did they have VIP tents? If so, how were VIP tickets sold?
If there were free viewing areas, where were the best places to watch?
If you have any other good tips, please let us newbies know. Thanks.

We raced there last year..Great Site!..I understand there's a different group running the event, so the set up might be different..
Check on the APBA site for details or call them..
Enjoy!

The wife and I went last year. It cost $10 for the pits and some really good viewing areas. And of course that gave access to the BEER trucks. No VIP at Clev. last year but I believe APBA are selling VIP passes at all races, cost in Savannah was $50 per pass. Just a really good time in Cleveland, everything is within a mile and plenty of taxis.
See you there.

OFFSHORE1, you rack or trailer? I rack at Spitzer, you in there with me? I was a patrol boat last year, but this year I'll be just a spec...........tater.
FYI, for everybody else, there is an excellent public ramp in Lorain, OH, that will handle any size boat and its deep water (20ft) and only 30 miles west (as the crow fly's) of Cleveland. After watching the race, then getting juiced up in the flats, its a nice run back, you gotta watch out for them bass boats though! Them guys are everywhere!!!
