PT-109 found
Thought this was kind of a interesting story. I started searching out World War 2 stuff after my grandfather and I had a talk about it and I realized I knew just about nothing.
Hear is the link about Ballards find. http://news.nationalgeographic.com/n...2_pt109_1.html Jon |
I heard it on the news a month ago but positive ID hadn't been confirmed.
WOW, that's cool. National Geo. is producing a documentory on his find and it will air sometime later this year. |

And as we all know, mahogony doesn't rot!! Not even in salt water. At least not very fast anyway.

Foul,
Wood rots faster in Fresh water than it does in Salt. That's why timber is actually stored in salt water. |
Well, you learn something new every day!! Thanks Jim.
