Great video! This boat is a perfect combination of length, ride and speed/engine power/consumption. Barely sips fuel!! Hehe. We have everything for exporting the boat to USA again (where it was born!) if someone want to have it. The engines are super super fresh with all the most expencive parts from A-Z...

Erik :-)

HEY Skydog ;-) Nice to see you , you impressed me a lot with the high speed you got in your Motion 25 , I imagine you got the best out of your new rig , what are you running ? I miss the weight balance I had with the 260s on the Motion in the high speed take offs but with the 250XS the life at the gas station is much better at 10 usd a gallon.

ok I see the 380 HP option I will give him a call, my boat has two 6LP's, I am interested to see what they have done to them for the HP increase. A friend of mine in Sweden has a 29' Goldfish with a Merc 525 and it runs 85mph, very nice boat.

Hello Pstorti,

her you have the power and torque curves for a tuned vs. a stock 6LP. . .

Regards, Lars

Thanks Lars I am wondering why the torque curve is lower than stock from 2500 to 3000 rpm and horsepower is almost the same. I usually run the boat from the 2600 to 3200 rpm range so it would be better for me to have more power in the midrange to run a higher pitch prop. Is this done solely to preserve the drives or is there another reason? Are there parts that I would need, is it a kit you can sell me? Also at normal cruising speeds does this modification have any effect on fuel economy?

I am running two 6LP's (MY2009) with Bravo X diesel drives 1.5 ratio and 26 pitch Bravo 1 props. Top speed now is 55mph @3900 rpm. Boat is a 37' center console, no steps, with a notched transom. Thanks.

I know that Lars has worked a lot to keep the peak torque down to make the drives survive , when it comes to diesels the problem are small rpm band so in my opinion there is a hugh advantage of higher max rpm , you can use a smaller pitch propeller and get more acceleration , idle at not insane speeds... Lars can fill in here .
