If I remember correctly the bashing was directed at individuals not the boat. Engines are now by Whispering Turbines and the hull was put right by Skater. A race turbine package is the opposite of cheap but anyone wanting to take on Sheikh Hassan in 2013 should buy this boat and practice all winter.:evilb:

I have to say the original paint on this boat was bad-azz!
