Team Warpaint Set to Return with New MTI
Following its dramatic crash in Key West last November, Team Warpaint is preparing a new 42 MTI for a return to the racecourse very soon...

Sorry, I haven't followed the rules for the supercat class very closely, but has the compression ratio limit always been 9.5:1? I thought it was used to be higher around 11:1 or 12:1?

Yes the compression has been lowered to 9.5 to extend engine life. Alot of people complained about frequent rebuilds, thought it may be the limiting factor in the class.Time will tell , but the more the better. I had the pleasure of racing JR from Stihl in Coaco beach, they have converted to SUPERCAT from cat lite. All who are currently in the class want to race more boats. Its was pretty dismal for a while but hope this is a step in the right direction. Key West will be the test, Stihl,Loriblu,Warpaint,WHM and Myself will be there. There is also Abrams-Reliable, Bouedreaux's ASHTON, Talkin Trash and Mazzonis BTM sittin around that could easily make a 7-9 boat fleet possibility in the future. Im personally sick of a 1or 2 boat race, Im sure the fans are too.

I believe it's Randy Lienbach's airborne MTI which was the second Drambue boat. I believe that picture is a photoshop of the Drambue boat running if you look close the driver name sure looks like Hugh fuller on it. I might be wrong !
