Great write up Matt . Hopefully people click to enlarge the image and they can see how the story goes with it .

That was neat to see how the same picture changed when it was enlarged. It gave you an other look at what you may not have seen or knew before. Thanks for posting Matt.

Thanks, AB. Vertical images present a challenge online, because online (take a look at your screen) is a horizontal format. I would have liked the pop-up vertical image to be larger, but any larger and it would have grown "below the fold," meaning you couldn't see the entire image at a glance.

The way the Empire State Building grows when you click on the image is, for me, kind of breathtaking. Glad you appreciate it.

Stay tuned for another great photograph from the New York City SBI race by Tim Sharkey tomorrow in Image of the Week Part II.

Great Nite Photo, Brings back many memories
As kids we would walk down to the water front in Jersey City and watch the boats and ferries go back and forth to the city , and some times sneak on the ferries to take a ride to NYC.
thank you
Jim

GREAT picture! There really is NO city like her and I am glad to have grown up right near it. That city indirectly teaches you a lot things.

THANK YOU !

A similar image I had printed on Aluminum and donated it to Shore Dreams For Kids "Casino Night' Fundraiser. It was a great winter night for shooting the city.

It currently resides in a home in Hoboken if I am not mistaken ...
