How would either boat handle the water compared to a 33 Powerplay? Better? As good? Not as good?

Sorry for the hijack and questions but I saw the thread and couldn't resist because I dig both and can't afford a Skater.
From what I've personally been told (by VERY good sources), both the 35 Motion and 36 Spectre came from a splashed/popped 32 Skater hull. The 35 Motion was made from a stretched/modified 32 Skater hull splash and the 36 Spectre is a stretched/modified 35 Motion. Remember, Edwin Scheer (motion) and Jay Pilini (Spectre) were partners at one point.....

Edit: I found this thread posted about this exact topic and it mirrors the same info I was told when I was looking at 36 Spectres...

Thanks guys. It has 2004 525's with roughly 225 hours. The man who owned the boat recently passed away. I have to talked to several people who know him and the boat. It was very well maintained with an open checkbook. I am more curious about what was done to the boat prior to him owning it. I want to make sure there isnt prior structural damage.

I currently have a 2002 36 Spectre with 500 EFIs and really like it. I don't use it often enough, so I am considering selling, but I really hope they are worth more than $49,000! I have never broken a drive, or had any major issues with the boat. I think for the money they are the best "big" cat available!!! I have seen the boat that is advertised in a lot of Poker Run photos, but with that paint scheme it would be hard not to notice it! If that boat is legit, with no major issues, I think it's a steal at $49,000!!!

You could always call Jay Pilini and ask him. 727-329-8778 or 727-773-5603
