Yes, I keep up with miles put on my boat each year. GPS does it for me. Write it down and reset it first time out each year.

That's cool, I can remember when I first started boating I didn't know if 200 hrs was a good or bad thing, being so used to everything else using miles. Now I read your "miles" and I don't know what the hell they mean! :D

I am curious how many hours you ran to reach those miles

Good feedback and thanks guys!!

Anyone else? Prop feedback with this set up, any other 39's?

The problem is a boat is not how many hrs or miles have been driven but how much time at a mph. I would think a motor and outdrive will last a very long time at say 30 mph. I have a friend that has about 1100 hrs on his boat. He says it still runs like the first day he bought it. It is not a performance boat and has very little time at 40 mph and above.

I have a boat that runs over 100, & a friend's who runs just under 100. He aways running faster then I am and I bet the wear and tear on his motors and drives is way more then mine with both having the same hrs or miles.

the real problem with miles on a boat is rotating the tires,i do it at 8000 miles on my car, just cant figure out how to do it on a boat.:lolhit:

It's not an IMCO but the 39' Cig runs really well with Arnesons! You won't loose speed, nor have to speed a ton of time with spacers and you will have a warranty.

Pat
I just got the scx put on
Changed from 32 to 32 labbed props
Boat gets on plane much easier also steering feels tighter for some reason
Couldn't check top end since there is speed limit at lake and the po po was following me
But will have more info after this weekend in destin ( how's that for a test run )

Rik I would be interested to know the gains in this setup with equal power. I have looked at several 39's and cannot justify the price difference in the 700/NXT set up.
