I'll agree, but I did pick up a few, 2, MPH with the -4. Maybe IMCO can make a 6 style lower that bolts right on to the SCX-4 upper. What do you think Dave? I'd buy it and I'm sure a lot of others would too.

Have gone through, MMW all Billet, cost 16,000 spent 10,000 fixing it BMax clutch shaft blew up, SCX/SC upper held up but lower let go only once, so getting better:thankyouthankyou: the new SCX-4 is by far the best I have run on my cat, have 60hrs on it from this summer, no issues at all, I am running the #6 setup, no spacer, what you Bravo guys have to realize a "Surface" drive is just what it means, therefore the X dim changes I ran a 2" shorty with a half" spacer the -4 runs the same, the boat runs so much better with the -4 boat with the MMW which was the fastest of the previous Bravo Drives topped out @ 132 in cool weather, low on fuel, and perfect water conditions, now it will run that full of fuel, 4 people and loaded down:eekdrop: I ran the boat up to 135mph with 2 of us and coolers about 50gal of fuel during Desert Storm this year, but it was only 105deg:poopoo: I honestly think that IMCO, has finally found the economical way to have a reliable surface drive, and not be in the Mercury #6 price range...

Looks like 2 inch higher x is about 2-3 mph.. That seems right.. However Desert storm havasu was about 75-80 degrees this year in april
