Hi Sydwayz,
It's a bit of a challenge but doable, i always like to have an escape route if things look like they are going wrong.

Hi pro27,
It's been pretty windy down here and the ocean has been too rough to go at really high speeds, it has however given all the fin mounting hard wear a thorough testing with no structural issues at all. There is a noticable improvement in stability from around 70mph upwards. Managed a run on monday at 96mph and despite a quite strong side wind the boat remained very stable and didn't lean in to the wind, i am also able to go on and of the throttle without the boat rolling so i am extremely pleased with the results so far. We attached a go-pro to the fin and shot some movie showing the automatic vent and how stable the drive is with our steering system.

There is a rental car company at Fort Lauderdale Airport called Royal that rents new Diesel F250s.

You might look into storing with Mindi at Doller Offshore or see if the Geico crew has room at their facility in Sunny Isles. If you are OK with outside storage, with your cover on it, call Pat at www.outdrives.com . He has a nice and safe place in Pompano, close to the airport.

They have space but it's at a premium $1200 a month air conditioned but your in Sunny Isles great facilities and well again your in sunny isles........

Anti-theft prop nut shroud for indy/no6 propshaft

Hi all,
Nearly time for us to come back to America:) amongst the numerous new parts for the Outerlimits is an anti-theft prop nut cover, i will have one at the Miami show if anyone is interested in seeing it. it is manufactured from billet 316 stainless and requires special tools to remove so would certainly stop the casual thief, it also looks quite smart. If there was sufficient interest i would do a production run.

Regards
Peter

Peter you just need to go into business and make all this awesome stuff that you come up with. Go after the OEM market as well as retail and I think you will have plenty of customers.

Looks like you improved on the Buzzi wings/rudders finally - he ran both the horizontal and vertical ones. I only ran the old horizontal wing and it was amazing out bad they would chine walk without that.

To your credit this project is over the top, the things you've made for this are out of this world, wish you continued successes - just everything you do is a WOW!

Thanks HabanaJoe,
It is always nice to receive encouraging comments about our projects:) We just recently accquired a 38ft CUV called Cinzano and we are doing a ground up restoration, the hull is in excellent shape and i will be marrying the old hull to the very latest technology including a vented stepped pad,my fly-by-wire steering system and saving as much weight as possible in the build, she will be fitted with a pair of Ilmor 725's and indy drives. She is 32 years old and hopefully after we have finished playing with her she will finish up in a museum.

All The Best
Peter
