I feel your pain. One bright side is that Mortgage rates are at a 7 month low. That helps some but most are really hurting from this. Consumer Confidence is at a post 9/11 low. I wish I had a million dollars to buy at this low. I could be rich in 10 years. I guess if I had a million dollars I would be rich That and gas prices going up has got everyone down. I see a revolution in the making. Where is Supercrash when you need him?

i was doing so well 2 years ago i even entertained the thought of early retirement.waited to long to sell

what really gripes me is the 3k limit on losses our "representatives" "give" us.
if you actually have a gain , they want all their cut by april 15. whats wrong with this picture.

Whore, liars, and thieves have destroyed the foundation of our economy. The worst part is there is noone to be held accountable!

On the briter side, good things will come out of this.

Man it totally sucks. I have stopped looking myself. I am in it for the long haul but I know some people that were set to retire with almost a million if not more then a million in the bank and now they only have about 500K!!!!! Some bad decisions and they got killed!!!! I feel bad for those that were on the verge of retirement. My industry is starting to get hit HARD these days. This one is weeding out the week companies and the strong ones will be lucky to hold on. I am barely holding on but the future is VERY grim. This economy is starting to hit everyone.

My boat is my best investment. It only depreciates 10% or so a year while my stocks seem to lose 30% a year. I think I need another boat...
