Default What brand of hatch is this? Anybody have one or know where to find one?

Was out running yesterday and hit a wave that came rolling onto the deck and ripped the deck hatch off. Does anybody know who made it or where to find one or if someone has one for sale. It is from a 80 flat deck 38 Wellcraft Scarab. Ive checked Bomars web site and looked on Ebay for Bomar hatches and I cant find one like it

Do your hatches open up toward the bow?

Looks like the same hatch they used on Cigarettes from the 70's & 80's

Yes they do open towards the bow. Going to change that for next year and turn them the other way.

After inspecting the hatch frame trying to determine what failed. I learned that only one latch was latched down and it snapped that one off. I looked at pictures of the kids used on Cigarettes and it is not the same style. Mine has bars that are welded over the glass. The Cigarettes have just the glass.

Just replace them all with a similar looking Bomar without the bars. They install them to open towards the bow because that is the way they can catch air at anchor.
