that tunnel is a joke it is practically a flat bottom boat. no way that thing will run well out in the ocean.

oh really? think about it this way,,if you have a full open tunnel then alot of air will escape..this design looks as tho it will trap air and possibly give the boat more air..it alsi looks like it has a center tunnel like the sty hulls which were a 120 mph+ boat with a single outboard and they flew..

worse case,,they end up like the the blue thunder boats but doubtful..

Comparing their hull to the other "big cat" manuf, I'd say their hull shares the most similarities to the west coast success of Eliminator. All I can say from proven performance is if this type of design led Eliminator to Top Gun award at Loto which is a rough body of water and the other wide body DCB was a huge success at Desert Storm event then I think they are achieving the market positioning that they are working for with this type of hull. Not saying they are the best in all conditions but the quality I've seen has been fabulous and a combination of very fast and safe thus far. Good luck to them!

i'm not knocking the quality, Dave's attention to detail is second to none, i'm just looking forward to him building a cat that isn't a lake boat.

All his boats are beautiful lake boats. I've never heard of one of thir M-31 or M-35 in the ocean before. Great on Havasu but....
