We have talked about new jobs and opportunities.

Can you fathom the instant unemployment right now ?

Hotel workers, casino workers. Etc etc etc

A disaster beyond comprehension

Very very sad

I thought about that when I saw 100+ cabs under water in a Hoboken, NJ photo a few days ago. Cab company may have "loss of business" policy but those cabbies (100 cabs means 200 drivers) will be out of work for atleast a couple months. Cabs are usually former police cars but being they just got wrecked also they will be salvage not cabs in their next life so their will be a shortage of used crown vics to use as cabs adding further to the delay.

Construction related jobs will be way up, but there are a lot of others that are going to have a terrible Thanksgiving/Christmas holiday.....

Some good news, still a lot of bad news, and a bad forecast.

A guy who works for me (Jersey Shore native) said the EXACT same thing to me when he saw the pics of the Funtown pier.
