Kaama,
I was going to Illinois to visit my GF anyway so I decided to press onward and hit St. Joe just for something new. Made it over there by 10:30 Friday night just in time for the fireworks but and hour late for my dinner reservation.

Forgot about the time change. Ended up eating at Barneys boat house at about midnight(nice looking cig next to my table) Saturday ended up hanging at the beach all day watching boats go by while my GF tanned.

Sure was a lot of nice machinery filtering out of the river into LakeM. Overall had a great time. Hopefully next time I visit, it will be with a boat.

Glad to see that you had a nice time. I was there too for a little while on Saturday night. To me, it's not quite as fun without my boat, but I always enjoy myself down there every year with or without a boat, but the boats are part of what makes it fun. I'm just impressed that you came all the way from Minnesota.
