Since when are you looking for fuel economy? LOL
I'm asking the question because I'm interested to see just what kind of numbers get you to that kind of power on pump gas! It seems impossible.. But I'm no engine expert, just a back yard warrior :lolhit: |
What kind of heads and valve train are beibg used on this beast. Is this the same builder that had a really nice looking set of twin turbo engines on a threade several yeras ago.

The motors were designed using a clean sheet of paper everything is new.
The block, heads, intake, brackets are all machined from billet aluminum. 3 years ago the designer Todd Goodwin got tired of fixing motors that broke and thought he could design and build one better. The original intent was for truck pulls, wanted 650 cubic inches and 9500 rpm. |

Is Goodwin a Marine Engine Builder? I never heard of him before this. Or is his specialty in other types of racing engines? Just curious. 1700HP on 93 is beyond impressive. I have not heard of anyone else near that number on blowers only turbos. |
Nice engines---- BUT are they going to hold together for more than 100 hours and will they cost a lot less than $204,000.00 each ????????? a little shot at Merc!!!!
