NO! to all questions
more non boat related problems occured
i'm sure Jay can explain them better than myself
his discriptions are more colorful if you know what i mean
the only boat related problem was that we found
the housing on the port side sea water pump cracked
any body selling one cheap?
i'll try and get hold of him

No she does not run
The sea water pump was trickling out water so I yanked it thinking okay some seal or gasket is leaking
KaBlam
whole damn housing is cracked and just shot
So Now I need a whole damn sea water pump for the one engine
I have yet to fire up the engines due to water getting in them already thanks to some crappy old gaskets and a friend that im ready to beat in the head.
Anyway, I have fogged out all 16 cylinders
added oil and oil filters to both engines and used the starter to start cranking everything over and get all parts lubbed up and moving. (engines were never seized or anything)
So Im confident that she will run with no problems.
Going to finish ALL exhaust work today when I get home from work and get all risers ect torqued down to proper spec and get that all buttoned up.
Only thing left after that is to reinstall all spark plugs, put wires back on, oil change and oil filter change again
and start em up
but until I can find a sea water pump for cheap, stick a fork in me im done, wife put her foot down cause I have spent more money on this tub and it has not floated and I have kept telling her "oh baby it is just this one small thing" about 27 freakin times now.
she is not buying it anymore
so the river and chesapeake will have to wait for me to grace its presence until I come up with a cheap sea water pump.
(uh huh, anyone have a sea water pump for sale?)
Hell just the freakin housing
anything
Hell im ready to schmeg it all up and just go out once but ya know what, that could = dooms day so im not even going to try it but I want to GET OUT ALREADY DAMN IT!!!!!!

Someone please move THIS DAMN BLACK CLOUD OVER MY FREAKIN HEAD TOO!!!!
I need a break

Sorry for cruddy news my friends, I just keep saying to myself good things come to those who wait and I have waited for this for 17 years
what is a few more months?

The inpellor rebuild kit comes with a new housing. I think they are around $80 the last time i rebuilt mine. Actually my buddy just put two impellor kits in his fountain....because ONE Side went bad cause he sucked some mud/sand. I'll see if he kept the old housings.

My mechanic usually stocks them. I'll give him a call now for you. His shop is right by the Neshaminy Ramp.

Do you just need the plastic housing? I believe I keep that from mine thinking that somebody may need it sometime. I replaced mine with the bronze unit because the bearings came apart in my factory pump. If this is what you need tell me where to send it.
