Need image resizing help
 

I took a few pics from the boat yesterday, but they are too big to post or even send by e-mail (9.5mb). Can anyone tell me how to shrink the file size???

Anyway, If they are too big you can resize the pictures in MS Photo Editor or other similar photo software you may have(like Paint).

These instructions are for Photo Editor as it is the one I use on my machine(it's included in Most MS Office packages). Open the pictures and under the "Image" menu you will find "resize." Use this feature to reduce your pics to 640X480 pixels or smaller and then resave under some new name(so you don't overwrite the original.)

BTW, they need to be in JPEG format(*.jpg) to work on the board. So, when you "Save As" choose this format. :cool:

It still says the image is too large...

Here is a great little shareware program that does many different things with photos. It is a photo viewer (slideshow), can do a batch change of many photos, batch rename, convert to different file types.......all kinds of goodies.
