# 6 drives on 36' spectre ?{weismann drive info please}
 

can anyone give info on how these run, I was told that under 75mph that the hull doesnt make enough lift for the drive to work properly but works well at high speeds( I guess its a weight issue) I realize that the boat runs great with bravos but i just like the bullet proof system..

what about weismann drives compared to # 6 and would they work on the 36' spectre?

I have a 36 Skater with 575's & #6's. Boat rides great and it is bullet proof. Don't put bravos or b-max on a 36 cat. No matter what they tell you they are still breaking!!! I have a friend who works on these drives and I hear all the horror stories .

I have a 36 Spectre with a pair of 1500 HP Bandits,dry sump #6 and herring skegs. The boat handles like it is on rails all the way to 165 MPH. The most amazing thing is that it will also go very slow, stays on plane down to 30 to 35 MPH. Most importantly it's totally bullet proof. Otto
