I dont think the majority of the people here enjoy other peoples misery. Gotta have a little sense of humor about it though. Injuries suck and the pain from them can last a lifetime. I really feel for the people that got injured there...even the driver.

Anyway.....throttle man is an absolute jackass and should be criminally liable for his errant actions. At what point do any of us USE the throttle as a hand hold? No one here can say that the throttles were thrust full fore and aft due to any other influence than the boat crossing a wake, and the driver was using them as a hand hold.

Dumb. But....u can fix dumb. Stupid is broke for all time....no cure. However, we can have faith that our jackass throttle man has hope. He definitely learned a hard lesson here, but I can guarantee he won't do the HOLD ON FOR DEAR LIFE with the throttles again.

I am an advocate of teaching and being taught. So many people take the test to drive,but no one ever told them or showed them how to do it properly....and they look like an idiot when they try to explain how their Prius ended up in a canal.....

Yup. I was a passenger when something like that happened. Ripped me out of the bolster, hit the helm then the floor twice. Couple broken fingers, bumps, bruises and a lil blood. Respected buddy of mine was driving. Funny thing is I was the only one wearing a vest. I can look back at it now and laugh. Scared the sh!t of us.
