Make sure it is all aluminum not galvanized Check pulleys,cables Should be about $500 to remove and about $2,500-$3,000 to reinstall in 4 new pilings( not including permits,electrical and price of lift) Just had one done. BTW am selling a 16k Deco to make room for a 25k if you now of anyone

I purchased a used galva lift w/remote, 15,000 lb for $6,000. It was pretty much new, but half the price. It is a floating lift for fresh water so likely different than you need. Not sure if this info helps.

BAsed on your input and the fact that I'm only taking the lift because he wants to get rid of it (won't have my second boat for a little while), I'm going to offer him $2500 and mention I still need to pay to pull it, permit it and install at my house.
