OR http://dandydock.com/index.htm Current plan is to put two Parallel to a Standing Dock. I found the former at a pretty good price here: http://www.boatliftanddock.com/p-594...e-on-dock.aspx Anyone have any thoughts? I don't want any davit or electric driven lift for these. Want it low profile. |

Back when I covered personal watercraft media intros, all of the manufacturers used a product (not sure it was the one you're asking about specifically) just like this one. As somone who used to ride a lot, I thought they worked great.
That the manufacturers used them to handle what were in many cases prototype models ridden by various magazine editors with, let's say, "highly variable" docking and riding skills said a lot to me. |
The shore masters I have seen dont keep the azz of the larger skis dry. and were more $ than the Hydrohoist that I purchased when shopping.

From the searching I've done I like the RinoPort's the best (made by shoremaster) - I notice you can buy "supplemental support" that adds additional Buoyancy. I dont think I'd ever own a bigger ski, just ones like in the picture. |
Eric,
What kind of wave action do you deal with? I've considered something like this but we have 40+ft cruisers pass by our dock on plane. I've felt the wave action make this type of float a disaster waiting to happen. |

Obviously it isn't always THIS calm, but even big sport fisher's that go by don't really throw much wake down our canal. |
We have 2 EZPort3's keep 2 Sea Doo SCs on them and a EZport4 that I keep a 16' Boston Whaler on Work perfect and machines stay dry....If had to do over again would have bottom painted the docks with anti fouling paint have to have them cleaned twice a year

I used to have 3 of the black JetDocks. They are the cube style. (jetdock.com) Had them for about 6 years until I sold the skis. They were wonderful, no maintenance and no electricity.
