Default Online Outdrive School - Is there such a thing?

You can get a phd online these days! I'd like to know who offers online courses to learn to professionally service mercruiser and volvo penta outdrives. It seems outrageous that I have to qiut a high paying job just to learn to build drives like the pros. The only merc certified schools I have found are in NJ, a 200 mile drive away. Any leads would be much appreciated!!

Scool? Sounds like you need it!! J/K pal. Let the rest of us know if you find anything. I know I'd like to be able to do it myself also. MUCH cheaper that way.

Hey let me know too..Ive been wanting to learn outdrives and engines just to be able to know how to do it. Everybody tells me to find a (local buddy) to watch and learn from but I dont know of any high performance engine or outdrive builders in my area.
