LARGE VIEW

The tough water is visible in the large version- crazy rough that day- only 10% of the fleet made it to the lunch stop.

09 was a long time ago and I've been to sleep a couple of times since then but I thought I saw a pic of the original boat with the xXx on it. Did the original dress have the x's in the graphics?

For those who want more photos, there are more than a few photographer-generated threads on this site that provide hundreds. As Jay and Tim Sharkey can confirm through my conversations with them, I believe that while those galleries are essential, the most outstanding images tend to get lost/buried in them.

]Speedonthewater.com's "Image of the Week" feature showcases one image—hence the name of the feature—we believe, for reasons from color to content, is outstanding.

I hope that helps explain things. As for the lack of a XXX, I blame the photographer. Then again, he was shooting from a helicopter, which makes true side angles harder to get.
