Gauge alternatives
http://www.speedhut.com/gauges/
I`m tired of the Livorsi/ Autometer monopoly and no other options, these are designed for cars but I~m wondering whats the difference in MARINE gauges besides the 'bend over its for a boat' upcharge?? What are the thoughts on these gauges? So many more custom features....A GPS speedo with much more user info: http://www.speedhut.com/images/products/Functions.jpg http://www.speedhut.com/customizer.i?clid=181227 is only $251. |
May be hard to see those in the sun...analog no problem there.

Buy a nmea compatible display and you can see all the info on there no analog gauges are needed. Garmin Furuno Simrad Maretron ect.

Myself, if I were going to replace my gauges I would go with the Autometer, I always liked their customer service. Just my 2 cents |

Is this a marine set up? If not I wonder how it would stand up to the pounding? Sometimes you get what you pay for.
