Back To Big Basics at Outerlimits
Here's a longer-look feature on Outerlimits that went live today on boats.com, http://speedonthewater.com/in-the-ne...terlimits.html.
Written for a more general boating audience, but there's some interesting stuff in it. Happy day after Christmas. |
Quick correction: The SV29 did not win a national title. That was an error on my part. My editors at boats.com will correct that in the text today.

Nice!

Interesting that there is no mention of what the "mechanical problem" was...... that resulted in the boat rolling over! I'm sure it was something just minor!.... But the hull is just great.

Sv 43
Dustin, any chance you would show us some pictures of your completed SV43. After all it is an example of getting back to the bigger basics.

Cool article. It's like he's copying what Reggie Fountain is doing out east but now doing it west in CA.

No but it did win all 3 races at Key West by a massive margin, lapping some of the field and passing all the bigger boats in the other classes.
The Gasse boat was also dominating, just didn't finish |
